La banda de rock Fall Out Boy lanzó una versión actualizada de We Didn’t Star the Fire, donde actualizan a los personajes y hechos de la canción, por versiones actualizadas, de los últimos 34 años aprox, siendo el más antiguo la referencia a «su aerea majestad», Michael Jordan y el momento más emocionante con los Bulls (The Shot).
